There’s also nearby pubs in East Budleigh (Sir Walter Raleigh) and Otterton (The King’s Arms) as well as Otterton Mill cafe right by the river on your way back. WebEarly May 2024 saw us walking this route in a clockwise direction, with superb coastal views and delightful Devon scenery. At the start is the River Estuary which is a birdlife sanctuary where patience is rewarded with a fine mix of waterfowl.
